The Civil Aviation Authority ('CAA')1 may, if it thinks fit, provisionally suspend or vary any certificate, licence, approval, permission, exemption, authorisation or other document issued, granted or having effect under the Air Navigation Order 20162, pending inquiry and, where satisfied after due inquiry that there are sufficient grounds, may make a definitive revocation, suspension or variation3. There is a limited right of appeal4.
Where any such document has been revoked, suspended or varied, the holder or any person having possession or custody of it must surrender it to the CAA within a reasonable time after being required to do so
