For the purposes of any proceedings before any court in the United Kingdom1, any member of the crew2 and any other person on board an aircraft3 may, at the request or with the authority of the aircraft commander4, render assistance in restraining any person whom the commander is entitled to restrain5. Any crew member must, if so required by the commander, render such assistance6. Any member of the crew or any other person on board the aircraft may also, while the aircraft is in flight
