Any person authorised by the Secretary of State1 in writing may at all reasonable times, on producing evidence of his authority if so required, enter upon land in order to make a survey2. Such a survey may be required3:
(1) where the Secretary of State has confirmed or is considering the confirmation of an order authorising the CAA, a relevant airport operator4 or an air traffic services licence holder5 to acquire land in Great Britain compulsorily6;
(2) where the Secretary of State has made or has under consideration the making of an order providing for the creation in favour
