The duty of enforcing and executing regulations made by the Secretary of State1 in relation to sanitary control at aerodromes falls in most cases upon local authorities2.
The Secretary of State and any other person having the management of an aerodrome are required to provide facilities for consultation with local authorities affected by that aerodrome3; the Secretary of State is also required to consult with the local authorities affected before making any order declaring land to be subject to control in the interests of civil aviation
