1431. Operator and spaceport licences

Except as otherwise mentioned, the following provisions are not in force.

A licence authorising a person to carry out spaceflight activities1 is called an 'operator licence', and a licence authorising a person to operate a spaceport2 is called a 'spaceport licence'3. A person must not carry out spaceflight activities in the United Kingdom, or operate a spaceport in the United Kingdom, except under the authority of a licence4.
