The Aviation Security Act 1982 provides for a number of offences in order to ensure a better protection of aircraft, aerodromes1 and air navigation installations2.
It is thus an offence:
(1) to fail to comply without reasonable excuse with a direction or an enforcement notice3;
(2) to obstruct intentionally a person acting in the exercise of his functions or an authorised person in the exercise of his powers4;
(3) to interfere intentionally with buildings constructed or works executed in compliance with such a direction or enforcement order5;
(4) to fail to give the required information to the Secretary of State
