If a birth or death occurs in any part of the world in an aircraft registered in the United Kingdom1 or if the death occurs outside the United Kingdom of a traveller2 in such an aircraft who is killed on the journey3 in consequence of an accident, the owner of the aircraft must, as soon as practicable but not later than six months after the occurrence, transmit to the Civil Aviation Authority ('CAA')4 a return of such birth or death in the prescribed form5.
