The regulator1 is responsible for monitoring spaceflight activities2, the operation of spaceports3, the provision of range control services by holders of range control licences4 and associated activities, for the purposes of securing compliance with the provisions contained in and made under the Space Industry Act 2018, the conditions of licences and the international obligations of the United Kingdom, and of protecting public safety and the national security of the United Kingdom5.
Regulations may for any of those purposes
(1) require information to be provided to the regulator by a person who carries out spaceflight
