The following provisions apply only to non-EASA aircraft1.
An aircraft registered in the United Kingdom2 must not fly in North Atlantic Minimum Navigation Performance Specification airspace3 unless it is equipped with navigation systems which enable it to maintain the prescribed navigation performance capability4. The equipment so required must be approved by the European Aviation Safety Agency ('EASA')5 or the Civil Aviation Authority ('CAA')6, must be installed in a manner approved by CAA, maintained in a manner approved by the CAA, and must, while the aircraft is flying in that airspace, be operated in accordance with procedures approved by the CAA7.
