1060. Matters included in directions.

Apart from the provision of personnel to guard aircraft, aerodromes1, persons or property2 against acts of violence3, the Aviation Security Act 1982 provides for a number of matters which may be included in directions4.

Thus a direction imposing restrictions in relation to aircraft5 or requiring the promotion of searches6 may specify the minimum number of persons who may carry out searches, their qualifications, the manner in which any such search is to be carried out, and any apparatus, equipment or other aids to be used for such purpose7.
