1384. Jurisdiction in civil matters.

The question whether the United Kingdom courts have jurisdiction over a particular matter arising in relation to aircraft or air navigation will ordinarily1 fall to be decided in accordance with the general law of the United Kingdom2.

A court in any part of the United Kingdom3 has jurisdiction to hear and determine a claim for charges or interest payable in respect of chargeable air services4 notwithstanding that the person against whom the claim is made is not resident within the jurisdiction of the court5
