1384.     Jurisdiction in civil matters.

The question whether the United Kingdom courts have jurisdiction over a particular matter arising in relation to aircraft or air navigation will ordinarily1 fall to be decided in accordance with the general law of the United Kingdom2.

A court in any part of the United Kingdom3 has jurisdiction to hear and determine a claim for charges or interest payable in respect of chargeable air services4 notwithstanding that the person against whom the claim is made is not resident
