Student air traffic controllers, the air traffic controllers1 and the persons involved in the licensing, training, testing, checking and medical examination and assessment of applicants must be qualified and licensed in accordance with the specified2 European Regulation3 by the competent authority4.
Without prejudice to any other provisions5, the Civil Aviation Authority ('CAA')6 may approve7:
(1) any course of training or instruction8;
(2) any unit training plan or unit competence scheme9;
(3) a person to conduct such examinations, assessments or tests as it may specify10; and
(4) a simulator11.
