The following provisions apply only to non-EASA aircraft1.
An aircraft must not fly2 unless it equipped with equipment which3:
(1) complies with the law of the country in which it is registered4 or the state of the operator5; and
(2) enables communications to be made and the aircraft to be navigated, in accordance with:
(a) the provisions of the Air Navigation Order 20166 and any regulations made under the Air Navigation Order 20167; or
(b) any notified airspace requirements8.
Where an aircraft is registered in the United Kingdom9, the equipment required to be carried is specified by the Air Navigation Order
