The following provisions apply to a public transport flight of passengers1 by an aircraft2 registered in the United Kingdom3.
Before the aircraft takes off and before it lands, the pilot in command4 must take all reasonable steps to ensure that, the crew5 of the aircraft are secured in their seats and any cabin crew6 are properly secured in their seats which are in a passenger compartment and which are so situated that the cabin crew can readily assist passengers7.
