1064.     Effects of directions.

Where a direction1 requires anything to be done or not done in the United Kingdom2, the direction has effect notwithstanding anything contained either in any contract3 or in any statute or rule of law; thus no proceedings in any United Kingdom court4, whether civil or criminal, lie against a person carrying out such a direction5.
