945. Duty to secure alternative accommodation.

Where the Secretary of State1 has acquired land for purposes connected with the discharge of his functions relating to civil aviation2, or in pursuance of Part II of the Civil Aviation Act 19823, and where the use of the land for the purposes for which it was acquired involves the displacement of persons residing in premises on that land4, he has a duty to secure that any such person is provided with reasonable residential accommodation5.
