The operator1 of a public transport aircraft registered in the United Kingdom2 must make available to every person appointed by him to give or to supervise the required3 training, experience, practice or periodical tests, a training manual4; he must ensure that each copy of that training manual is kept up to date5. He must also provide the Civil Aviation Authority ('CAA')6 with a copy of the whole of the training manual relating to the crew of the aircraft at least 30 days before the flight, failing which the aircraft must not fly
