The operator1 of a public transport aircraft2 registered in the United Kingdom3 must make available to each member of his operating staff4 an operations manual5; he must ensure that each copy of the manual is kept up to date6 and that on each flight every member of the crew has access to a copy of every part of it which is relevant to his duties on the flight7. He must also furnish the Civil Aviation Authority ('CAA')8 with a copy of the manual not less than 30 days prior to the flight of the aircraft to which the manual
