Chargeable air services are those services which are not excepted air services1 and which fall within the following heads2:
(1) air traffic services3 provided in respect of the United Kingdom4;
(2) air traffic services which the United Kingdom has undertaken under international arrangements to provide in respect of an area outside the United Kingdom5;
(3) air traffic services which are provided in respect of an area outside the United Kingdom and the charges for which the United Kingdom has undertaken to collect under international arrangements6;
(4) services which are provided by the Civil Aviation Authority ('CAA')7 in performing its
