1150. Certification of compliance with venting and emission requirements.

Where it is of the opinion that a type of non-EASA aircraft, turbojet engine, or turbofan engine, as the case may be, complies with the fuel venting requirements1, the smoke emission requirements2, or the requirements relating to the emission of unburned hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide and oxides of nitrogen3, the Civil Aviation Authority ('CAA')4 must certify that type of aircraft or engine as being so compliant5. The power of the CAA in this regard extends only to non-EASA aircraft registered in the United Kingdom
