The Civil Aviation Authority ('CAA')1 must issue a noise certificate2 in respect of:
(1) any relevant United Kingdom-registered civil propeller-driven or subsonic jet aeroplane3;
(2) any microlight aeroplane4 registered in the United Kingdom5;
(3) any state aircraft or research aircraft registered in the United Kingdom for which there is an EASA equivalent type6;
(4) any state aircraft or research aircraft registered in the United Kingdom for which a noise standard is specified7; and for which there is no EASA equivalent type8,
