The Civil Aviation Authority ('CAA')1 may amend the register2 or cancel the registration of an aircraft whenever it appears necessary or appropriate to do so for giving effect to the provisions relating to the registration and marking of aircraft3 or for bringing up to date or correcting the particulars on the register4. It must cancel the registration of an aircraft5:
(1) within two months of being satisfied that there has been a change in ownership
