1215. Aircraft continuing airworthiness record system for EASA aircraft.

At the completion of any maintenance1, the certificate of release to service2 must be entered in the EASA aircraft3 continuing airworthiness4 records5. Each entry must be made as soon as practicable but in no case more than 30 days after the day of the maintenance action6. The aircraft continuing airworthiness records must consist of:

  1.  

    (1)     an aircraft logbook, engine logbook(s) or engine module log cards, propeller logbook(s) and log cards for any service life limited component as appropriate7; and

  2.  

    (2)     when required8 for commercial air transport or by the member state for commercial operations other than commercial air transport,
