Before beginning an auction1 the auctioneer2 must place or cause to be placed a ticket or board bearing his true and full first name and surname and his residence painted, printed or written thereon in large letters publicly visible and legible, and must place or cause to be placed a copy of the Auctions (Bidding Agreements) Acts 1927 and 1969 in some conspicuous part of the auction room and must keep them there during the whole time the auction is being held3.
