Members of the forces of certain Commonwealth countries1, and of the Republic of Ireland, are subject to the Armed Forces Act 2006 when they are attached to any of Her Majesty's forces raised in the United Kingdom, or in any place to which the Act has been extended by Order in Council2. In such circumstances, the person so attached is subject to service law for the purposes of the Armed Forces Act 2006 at all times at which he would be so subject if he were a member of that force and he is to be treated as if
