An appellant under an armed and reserve forces compensation scheme1 must start proceedings before the First-tier Tribunal2 by sending or delivering a notice of appeal3 to the decision maker4 so that it is received within 12 months after the date on which written notice of the decision being challenged was sent to the appellant5.
