The procedure of the panel is such as the president1 may direct2. The president decides the persons from whom written or oral evidence is to be requested and whether a person is to be requested to produce any document3 or other thing4. The president may so decide at any time before or during the proceedings of the service inquiry panel5.
Evidence given by a person to a service inquiry panel is not admissible against a person at a summary hearing6 or in proceedings before a civilian court or a service court7.
A judge advocate may issue a witness notice on application
