A witness before the Court Martial1 and the Summary Appeal Court2 or any other person whose duty it is to attend before such courts is entitled to the same immunities and privileges as a witness before the High Court in England and Wales3.
The restrictions as to the questioning of witnesses by the defendant in person in civilian courts4 apply with appropriate modifications in proceedings before the Court Martial and the Service Civilian Court5.
