606. Offences in relation to service.

A person commits an offence if he aids, abets, counsels or procures the commission by another person of an offence of desertion1 or absence without leave2, if he knows3 that another person is subject to service law4 and does an act5 intending to cause that other to be absent without leave which causes that person to be absent without leave6. A person commits an offence if knowing or believing that a person has committed an offence of desertion or absence without leave, he does an act intending to impede that other person's apprehension or prosecution7.
