476. Offences against regulations made under powers contained in the Armed Forces Act 2006.

Any person1 commits an offence if, on appearing before a recruiting officer2 and offering to enlist in the regular forces3, he knowingly gives a false answer to any question approved by or on behalf of the Defence Council4 for inclusion in an enlistment paper and put to him by or on the direction of the recruiting officer5. Any person who commits such an offence is liable on conviction by a court of summary jurisdiction in the United Kingdom6 to a fine7. A person who commits such an offence and enlists in the regular forces is guilty of a service
