The Court Martial may award a sentence of either a reprimand or a severe reprimand1. There is no further statutory definition of the nature of the punishment or its effect in any enactment save that it may only be awarded if the person being sentenced is an officer, warrant officer or non-commissioned officer2.
The Court Martial may award a service supervision and punishment order3. Such an order:
(1) must require the offender4 not to use any entitlement to leave without the permission of his commanding officer5;
(2) may impose on the offender one or more of the following requirements: (a)
