The Court Martial1 has jurisdiction to try any service offence2. Charges alleging such offences are allocated for Court Martial trial by the Director of Service Prosecutions3 or are the subject of elections for Court Martial trial by the accused4.
In addition, the Court Martial may hear and determine appeals brought by persons convicted or sentenced by the Service Civilian Court5.
