Any forfeiture from the pay of any person subject to service law1 must be authorised by statute2, and no deduction from such pay may be made unless by statute3.
Such a person must, notwithstanding any deduction from his pay but subject to any forfeiture, remain in receipt of pay at not less than the minimum rate prescribed by Defence Council regulations4.
