Where a reservist1 is employed under a 'relevant contract of employment' (ie a contract of service or apprenticeship, but not including a zero hours contract2), his employer3 is entitled to claim an 'employer's payment' for the period that the reservist is an employee of the employer4. Eligibility for such payments is limited to employers and employees of private undertakings5 with an annual turnover of not more than £25.9 million6 and with not more than 250 employees7, and claims are subject to the fulfilment to an adjudication
