Subject to certain provisions1, no person may:
(1) use an anti-personnel mine2;
(2) develop or produce an anti-personnel mine3;
(3) participate in the acquisition4 of a prohibited object5;
(4) have a prohibited object in his possession6; or
(5) participate in the transfer7 of a prohibited object8.
Subject to the same provisions, no person may assist, encourage or induce any other person to engage in any such conduct9. A person contravening these provisions is guilty of an offence10.
