22.     Conventions relating to the wounded, sick and shipwrecked.

The first two Geneva Red Cross Conventions are the Convention for the Amelioration of the Condition of the Wounded and Sick in Armed Forces in the Field1, and the Convention for the Amelioration of the Condition of the Wounded, Sick and Shipwrecked Members of Armed Forces at Sea2. They are basically similar in their character and provisions. Neutral powers3 must apply the provisions of the conventions by analogy to persons protected by these conventions who are received
