The Centre, its property and assets are immune from all legal process save where immunity is waived by a statement certified by the Secretary-General3. Its archives are inviolable4. It is exempt from taxation and customs duties, with certain exceptions as to customs duties on goods for resale, and duties or taxes which form part of the price of goods or are no more than charges for services rendered
