Unless the court orders otherwise an arbitration claim form1 must be served on the defendant within one month from the date of issue2. The court may exercise its powers3 to permit service of an arbitration claim form at the address of a party's solicitor or representative acting for him in the arbitration4. Where the arbitration claim form is served by the claimant he must file a certificate of service within seven days of service of the arbitration claim form5.
The court may give permission to serve an arbitration claim form out of the jurisdiction if6:
