The parties1 are free to agree in what circumstances the authority of an arbitrator2 may be revoked3. If or to the extent that there is no such agreement4 then the authority of an arbitrator may not be revoked except by the parties acting jointly, or by an arbitral or other institution or person vested by the parties with powers in that regard
