For the purposes of the Arbitration Act 1996, 'court', in relation to England and Wales means the High Court1 or the County Court and, in relation to Northern Ireland, means the High Court or a county court2.
The Lord Chancellor3 may by order make provision4:
(1) allocating proceedings under the Arbitration Act 1996 in England and Wales to the High Court or the County Court5, allocating proceedings under the Arbitration Act 1996 in Northern Ireland to the High Court or
