Acts of the disciplinary committee are decided by a majority of the members present1. Any questions put to the vote must be put in the form of a motion2. Where on any question the votes are equal, the chairman does not have a casting vote but the question is deemed to have been resolved in favour of the respondent, except in the case of an application for restoration to the register3.
