The registrar of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons1 is appointed by the council of the college2. He must keep the registers3 and perform such other duties in connection with them as the council directs; and in the execution of his duties he must act on such evidence as in each case appears sufficient4. The council may appoint an assistant registrar who is entitled to perform all the functions of the registrar5.
