It is an offence1 to discharge a firearm2 or project a missile at a deer3 from a mechanically propelled vehicle when the vehicle is moving or when its engine is running4, or to use such a vehicle for the purpose of driving deer5, except in the case of anything done by or with the written authority of the owner of any enclosed land where deer are usually kept, in relation to deer on that land6.
