The appropriate authority1 may by order2 prescribe and regulate the marking of animals, prohibit or regulate the movement of animals, and the removal of carcases, fodder, litter3, dung and other things, and regulate the isolation of animals newly purchased4 and the issue and production of licences5 respecting movement and removal of animals and things6.
