409. Movement of animals generally.

The appropriate authority1 may by order2 prescribe and regulate the marking of animals, prohibit or regulate the movement of animals, and the removal of carcases, fodder, litter3, dung and other things, and regulate the isolation of animals newly purchased4 and the issue and production of licences5 respecting movement and removal of animals and things6. They may also by order prohibit absolutely or conditionally the use, for the carrying of animals, of any vessel, vehicle, aircraft or pen or other place in respect of the use of which a penalty has previously been recovered, and prohibit or regulate the holding
