Consequent to the UK's withdrawal from the EU, this Halsbury paragraph should be read in conjunction with the Conservation of Habitats and Species (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019, SI 2019/579, pending incorporation of the changes into the text.
The offences under the Conservation of Habitats and Species Regulations 20171 that implement EU provisions to protect certain wild animals2 do not apply to anything done under and in accordance with the terms of a licence granted under the following provisions3.
The relevant licensing body4 may grant a licence for the following purposes5:
