Hunting with hounds and hare coursing are prohibited, subject to specified exceptions1.

The requirement for dogs to wear collars does not apply to packs of hounds2. Similarly, the offence of worrying livestock, if committed by a dog being at large, that is to say not on a leash or under close control, in a field or enclosure where there are sheep, does not apply to a working gun dog or a pack of hounds3.
