132.     Inspection to check compliance.

Consequent to the UK's withdrawal from the EU, this Halsbury paragraph should be read in conjunction with the Veterinary Surgeons and Animal Welfare (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019, SI 2019/454, pending incorporation of the changes into the text.

An inspector1 may carry out an inspection in order to check compliance with:

  1.  

    (1)     the conditions subject to which a licence2 is granted3; or

  2.  

    (2)     provision made by or under the Animal Welfare Act 2006 which is relevant to the carrying on of an activity to which a licence relates4.
