The disciplinary committee1 of the Council of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons may exercise its disciplinary powers if:
(1) a registered veterinary surgeon or a registered veterinary practitioner is convicted in the United Kingdom or elsewhere of a criminal offence which, in the committee's opinion, renders him unfit to practise veterinary surgery2; or
(2) any such person is judged by the committee to have been guilty of disgraceful conduct in any professional respect3; or
(3) the committee is satisfied that the name of any such person has been fraudulently entered in the register4; or
(4) a person registered
