Orders may be made1 for preventing the introduction into, or spreading within, Great Britain of pests or diseases affecting bees2. Such an order may, inter alia3, prohibit or regulate the importation into or movement within Great Britain of bees and combs, bee products (for instance honey or beeswax), hives, containers, other appliances used in connection with keeping or transporting bees, and any other thing which has or may have been exposed to infection4; and it may make provision as to:
(1) the conditions to be observed on importation of bees;
(2) licences for importation;
(3) the securing of information
