268. Appeals.

There is a right of appeal to a magistrates' court1 against:

  1.  

    (1)     the refusal to grant a licence2;

  2.  

    (2)     any condition attached to a licence3;

  3.  

    (3)     any variation or cancellation of a condition4;

  4.  

    (4)     the refusal to approve the transfer of a licence5; or

  5.  

    (5)     certain directions6 or variations thereof7.

An appeal must be brought within 28 days from receipt of written notification of the local authority's decision, and will lie whether or not that decision was made pursuant to a direction by the appropriate authority
